Making room for others.

I think they are still calling our age the “Age of Information” but ironically, tongue in cheek it could be called the “Age of Mass Information”. Like, how many times do I need to be invited to have a new MasterCard? SurprisedI  suppose by now, if I had responded to each opportunity I could have well over a hundred of them. The spam phone calls and emails hit everyone enough times to wear out even a lonely person. And so, sometimes, when the phone rings, my first mental reaction is “not again”! But … maybe it’s not a telemarketer, but a friend...

 One of the busiest friends I have is pictured here, yet four of us found the time to spend an afternoon together on beautiful Georgian Bay, and we are richer for it.

Sometimes I like to take a road trip.

So we pick a spot on the map, and plan the trip around the sights that interest us. If we were coming to Midland, maybe we’d like to see the Wye Marsh, or do a downtown walk and see the Murals. Why did people move to this particular place?
